Before you book, it helps to know exactly what you're getting — seat count, luggage room, engine and AC setup for the Coaster buses in our Lagos fleet.
"Coaster bus" covers a range of configurations, and the seat count on the quote you get depends on which one you're booked into. Here's what actually varies between them, so you can match the vehicle to your group before the day of travel rather than finding out on arrival.
Our Coaster fleet runs in two main layouts: a 30-seat configuration with a wider aisle and more legroom per row, and an extended 33-seat configuration for larger groups where the priority is fitting everyone rather than maximum comfort per seat. Both include a dedicated driver's seat and a front passenger seat that's usually kept free for a tour lead or event coordinator.
If your group is travelling with heavy equipment — sound gear for an event, display materials for a conference — mention it on the quote form so we can confirm the right unit has enough boot space.
The Coaster is built as a diesel commercial passenger vehicle, which is why it handles long, loaded runs like Lagos to Abuja or Lagos to Ibadan comfortably at full capacity, rather than struggling the way a smaller passenger van would.
All Coaster units in the fleet run dual roof-mounted AC units rather than a single dash unit, since a single unit can't keep 30+ people cool on a Lagos afternoon. Reclining seats and curtains are standard on most units; if a specific booking needs anything extra, ask when requesting a quote.
