How the Bus Rental Booking Process Works

From your first message to the driver arriving at your pickup point — what actually happens, and what we need from you at each stage.

If you haven't rented a bus with a driver before, it helps to know what the process actually looks like end to end, and where the decision points are.

Step 1 — Tell us the trip

Everything starts with the quote form or a WhatsApp message: passenger count, pickup point, destination, date, and whether it's a one-way trip, a round trip, or a multi-day booking. The more specific this is, the faster we can quote accurately — see our pricing guide for what affects the number.

Step 2 — We match a vehicle

Based on headcount and luggage, we recommend a Coaster or Hiace (our comparison guide covers the difference) and confirm availability for your date. For routes outside Lagos, we also factor in driver rest stops and return timing.

Step 3 — Quote and confirmation

  • Quote sent — covering the vehicle, driver, fuel and any add-ons discussed (multi-day accommodation, venue hold time, etc.)
  • Booking confirmed — once you accept and a deposit or full payment is made, your date and vehicle are locked in.
  • Driver assigned — you'll get the driver's details ahead of the trip so you have a direct line of contact.

Step 4 — Pickup day

The driver arrives at your pickup point ahead of the agreed time. For safety-conscious clients, our vetting checklist outlines what's checked on both the vehicle and the driver before any trip.

Changing your booking

Plans shift — see our cancellation and rescheduling policy for what happens if you need to move a date or cancel after paying.
