A single vehicle booked for the whole visit keeps the family moving together instead of splitting into separate taxis and losing each other along the way.
A Hiace (14–18 seats) is usually the right size for an extended family gathering — large enough to keep a household or two together, small enough to move through Lagos traffic more easily than a full-size Coaster. For larger reunions spanning several branches of the family, a Coaster may be worth considering instead.
Reunions bring together grandparents, young children and everyone in between, and comfort matters more over a multi-day visit than for a single event trip. A Hiace's lower step-in height and shorter aisle make boarding easier for elderly relatives than a full-size Coaster does.
Booking one vehicle for the length of the visit, rather than separate one-off trips, usually works out simpler to plan and easier to coordinate.
